The farmers organization continued to operate the Farmer’s Creamery Company for several years, and was then sold to a private owner, John J. Eilers. It was operated under his ownership until it was again sold to a Farmer’s Cooperative Association and was operated by this organization until 1943.
After that it was operated by a several different individuals over a number of years as a creamery and was then converted to a cheese factory.
The ups and downs of the creamery business was an example of what many businesses went through in the first half of the new century. The way of doing things changed drastically with machine taking the place of horse and manpower.
As already seen farm crops were changing and made related businesses change as well.
